14th OctLondon Cup (Year 10 Football)On Monday 13th October 2025, our Year 10 boys played against The Sydney Russell School for the London Cup. It was a fantastic game, which saw Mayfield come out on top with a 4 - 1 win! Well done to al involved! On to the next round!
27th JunSporting successesOn Wednesday 25th June, Iyana-Kris E. in 7M7 represented Redbridge for shot putt in the Essex Schools Athletics competition in Chelmsford. Iyana did extremely well achieving 18th place in the whole of Essex. This is a great achievement and we are very proud of her. Well done, Iyana! Following Matthew A.'s recent success in 400m at the Redbridge Athletics Championships this month, we are pleased to announce that Matthew has achieved a new School Record of 56.87. Well done, Matthew, and keep up the hard work at training!
18th JunAthletics SuccessOn Tuesday 17th June, it was the borough athletics championships for year 9 and 10. Their behaviour was excellent both on and off of the track and resulted in us bringing home 4 medals on the day! 16th JunYear 7 and 8 District SuccessOn Thursday 12th June 2025, the Year 7 and 8 athletics teams competed in the Redbridge Athletics Championships. The effort and hard work in training sessions definitely paid off, as we achieved four medals overall. William R. L.: 1st pace in Redbridge in 300m (gold medallist) Inayah K.: 2nd place in Redbridge in shot putt (silver medallist) Rizwan M.: 3rd place in Redbridge in high jump (bronze medallist) Rejan R.: 2nd place in Redbridge in javelin (silver medallist) This was a great day had by all and good practice for students for our upcoming Sports Day on Friday 4th July!
28th FebYear 10 Netball Runners-upThe Year 10 Netball team showed incredible determination and resilience in the Borough Netball Competition on Tuesday 25th February. They secured a well-deserved 2nd place finish, placing them as the second- best Netball team in Redbridge. Although they faced strong competition from the start, the team showed significant improvement and fought hard to stay in the game, especially in the 3rd and 4th quarters, where they really found their rhythm. The Coach’s Player of the Match award went to Absa T. Her consistent hard work throughout the game, particularly in attack, made a real difference. The Player of the Match title went to Kaitlyn R. who was instrumental in securing the team’s second-place finish. She was a standout performer in the final two quarters, with her attacking skills playing a crucial role in the team’s comeback.
