On Tuesday 12^th March 2019, 14 students from Years 7 – 9 competed at the London Youth Games Dance Final.

The girls competed against 24 other schools from across London who managed to win their own borough heat.

The girls worked incredibly hard and the judges commented on their excellent performance skills and their ability to work as a team. The girls were incredibly supportive of one another and celebrated each other’s achievements.

We were blown away to discover Mayfield School had placed 2nd gaining silver medals.

The girls have now been invited to compete at the National Schools Dance Final in June against schools from London, Scotland and Wales.

 

We hope that with all their hard work they will be able to place again.
