We were delighted to take Y7, 8, and 9 students on our school's first fishing trip. All the students caught fish and we even managed to catch one of the bigger fish from the lake. Students engaged with a new sport which has been linked to improved social skills and mental health, and the students are keen to go again, despite none of them willing to touch the bait! We would like to thank the London Angler's association and it's members for supporting the school with the purchase of equipment and the venue, and hope to continue our positive relationship.
