Our Ethos

Charlotte (Web)At Mayfield School we foster holistic wellbeing and instil lifelong habits of health. We embrace inclusivity, respect and the celebration of diversity, recognising the unique sporting abilities and potential within each individual.

Students are given ample opportunities to compete in sport within the curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Through structured learning experiences, we promote physical literacy, resilience, teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.

By the time pupils leave school they will have developed the skills, techniques and self-confidence needed to perform a range of physical activities, as well as gaining the knowledge and understanding required to lead a healthy, active lifestyle, as they progress into adulthood.
