The Year 7 netball team competed against ten Redbridge schools in the School Games netball competition on Thursday 26th January 2023.

They played extremely well together and managed to win three out of four of their pool games, which took them to the third and fourth play off stage against Woodbridge.

This was a tough game for Mayfield, as they were up against some club netball players.  Woodbridge dominated the game, resulting in Mayfield finishing the tournament in fourth place. This is the furthest a team have got in a netball competition and we are very proud of the girls.

Coach’s players were Naiisha and Destiny for their excellent work in defence.
