During the Summer Term our Geography department ran a Year 8 ‘Sustainable Inventions’ competition linking to a Climate Change topic in class.

Please find below the winner and runner up for the competition. Everyone worked really hard and produced some excellent inventions!

Winners: Mohamed S. & Shiven M. 8M8 (invented a bio-filter to reduce vehicle CO2 emissions) 

Runner up: Yusuf O. 8M7 (invented the ‘Charging Turbine’ to charge electric vehicles)
