Bringing History alive at Mayfield School. Students worked hard to prepare shields and swords specifically in the traditional Saxon and Norman style.

On Tuesday 19^th December 2017, Year 7 students re-enacted one of the most famous battles in British History, the Battle of Hastings, and went over the key moments of the battle, which had a profound impact on the country, and led to the reign of a French King in Britain.
